From the Pastor’s Desk:  

While I haven't been able to verify it, there's a story about Albert Einstein and his chauffeur that I hope is true!  It seems that Einstein once embarked on a lecture tour to numerous universities and was transported by a chauffeured limousine.  After several months of driving the famous professor  and attending every lecture, the chauffeur said to Einstein, "Professor Einstein, I've heard your lecture so many times that I believe I could give it myself! Dr. Einstein, said, "Well at the next university they've never met or seen me.  I'll put on your Chauffeur's hat and you go in and give the lecture.  We'll see how you do." 

So, the two make the adjustments needed for the arrival.  When they got there the driver went to the podium and gave Einstein's lecture flawlessly.  Einstein was impressed.  But something happened on the way out, two physics professors approached the driver and asked him a complicated question.  The driver was quick on his feet and said, "I'm shocked that's such a simple question my chauffeur could answer it.  Go ask him!"

          While he was able to recite the words of Einstein's speech, the driver wasn't able to comprehend their meaning.  Sometimes that's the way it is with Scripture, creeds and especially God, we do have words, that we may not fully comprehend, but in the graciousness of the God we can clearly see God in Jesus, which is our way of understanding the nature of the universe and for that, we are all grateful. —Pastor Mike
