GIRL SCOUTS
Girl Scout Troop 20124 meets weekly on Monday afternoons at Tryon UMC in the classrooms along the Education Wing.
The United Methodist Men of our church help sponsor this troop in their projects throughout the year. The girls sell their wonderful cookies early in the year to raise money for their camping and scout projects. Recently, the girls from Troop 20124 went to a state park near Charleston for camping and other fun.

PRACTICE QI GONG
FOR YOUR HEALTH
This group has been meeting weekly, since June 1, 2020, in the Tryon UMC Fellowship Hall. Potential Health Benefits related to Fibromyalgia, improving balance, Osteoporosis, Depression, sleep quality, knee osteoarthritis, Shingles, Peripheral Neuropathy, heart failure, high blood pressure, Parkinson's Disease. These potential benefits of deep breathing and gentle movements of Qi Gong have been documented by research studies performed by leading medical centers and are funded by the National Institute of Health.

THERMAL BELT OUTREACH MINISTRY
This is a Polk County, North Carolina outreach ministry. It assists over 7900 Polk County neighbors each year with food, financial assistance (rent, mortgage, utilities,medical and dental) and special programs for children (Feed A Family, School Supplies and Holiday meals) and veterans. Without the help of our generous community and partnerships with churches like Tryon United Methodist Church, we could not provide this level of assistance to those in need. We are all in this together and at Outreach, we are grateful for all you do to help. Thank you !

LIVING CLEAN
Living Clean: meets weekly on Thursday at 6:00 PM in the church Fellowship Hall. This is nonprofit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem.
