Worship, Fellowship and Services bond us  to one another and with our Lord. We share our joys and multiply them and we share  our sorrows and divide them in our vital ministries of prayer. The grace  and love of  Christ heals and  cares for everyone who  is a part of  Tryon UMC. We are energized and sent into the world  as witnesses for Jesus.

SUNDAYS AT 9:45 A.M.

COME ONE...COME ALL... !!!!!

Adult Class

This class meets in the church parlor across from the nursery. The class uses the resource 'Adult Bible Studies' from Cokesbury as its guide. All are invited and encouraged to come this 'small group' in a time of learning, fellowship, and friendship.

   Youth Class:  (7th-12th grade)

Travis Bright and Harry Strider lead this class in the room just off from the Fellowship Hall.  Art is incorporated into a discussion of youth issues of today centered around scripture.  And, of course, a lively round of ping-pong follows in the room next door!

Elementary Class:  (3rd-6th grade)

Leslie Turnage leads this class located at the far end of the Sunday School wing on the right.  Come sit on bean bags and enjoy a wide array of Christian topics meant to guide this age toward growth in Christ.

(4k-2nd grade)

Dee Bunn and Ashley Padgett lead this class located at the far end of the Sunday School wing on the left.  Godly Play uses a Montessori approach to enter into the sacred stories in order to discover God in ourselves, the world, and those around us.  Come and see the beautiful wood cutouts of the stories, from Noah's Ark to the desert box - which visually enhances for this age the stories as they come to life through a hands-on approach.
